WISA Wooden Design Hotel, Helsinki

Saw this couple weeks back, but it wasn't ready then. " Perched on the edge of a rocky outcrop in Helsinki Harbour, overlooking the gothic spires of the Finnish capital, a new, swooping structure has recently taken residence. Titled the Wooden Design Hotel, this unexpected guest offers an elegant lesson in what best to do with wood. Despite its deceptive title, the undulating wooden structure is in fact not really a hotel. More of a temporary housing prototype able to hold the occasional guest, the woody monument has been designed by Interior architect Pieta-Linda Auttila for timber merchants WISA, as part of a commission to reassert the architectural benefits of the material. -- " -from wallpaper, where are also more pics/info!!

Free Pumas

My free Pumas arrived what I've been waiting for quite some time. So story goes something like this: My dad bought me some Pumas from the Puma store while we were in Hamburg in Autumn. Then maybe a month ago I discovered there was a tiny crack near the sole. I just thought naah well the quality isn't that awesome. But my dad went a step further. Since hes German born, but living here in Finland, he wrote a email to the Puma chiefs in Germany ( there was a factory near where my dad lived ) and told them about how bad the quality was and how it was better when he was a kid. Then unexpectedly someone answered the letter and said I should just pic a new shoe from their site and they would send it to me, for free.
I dont know about other brands but I think this is one awesome customer care. I just took some pictures about the crack in the shoe and thats all. Not even showing the bill.
So I said a first round in white would be cool, since I never owned one before. But when the shoe came it wasnt all white but white/dark grey. I wasn't that suprised because the white/white colourway is so rare, and after all, I still got me some new Pumas so its ok :P

I dont use fitteds, infact I almost hate em since thats one of the only headwear accessory what you see on the street nowadays. However, This could be the first New Era what I could maybe accidently wear, heh. Mainly because the design is totally different to all the other caps out there, and Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of my favourite anime series ( although haven't seen the movies ).

Limoland for Yoshida Porter

Really liked the older Limoland x Head Porter collabos, and also liking this one. The Limoland logo is such an awesome detail! ( diggin the brand in general ) The collabo isnt actually with the basic Head Porter, but Yoshida & Co, the " mother " brand what makes Head Porter. The Yoshida logo is similar to the Porter, but they use it a bit rarely ( maybe just in special occasions). Space age of fashion

Recently watched the 2001: A Space Odyssey and it got me thinking about the space age of fashion in the 60's. The space age of fashion started with André Courreges collection in 1964, followed with many other designers, including my favourite Pierre Cardin. the crazy geometric shapes, weird materials and the controlled use of colour made it...well futuristic! Just the way I like it. Here are some nice pieces from that time ( all Pierre Cardin ).
